Taverna Kristina

We only tried the Taverna Kristina once
in the 18 years we’ve been coming to this
island; the owner was not very friendly if you
didn’t speak Greek

and not many of our Greek friends on the
island had anything really nice to say about the
tavern except that the owner had nice fish and
since my wife is allergic to fish this wasn’t our
first choice anyway.

But three months ago the tavern was taken
over by our good friends Anna & Stefanos and
it couldn’t be any better for us;

Anna is one of the best cooks on the island and
the tavern is just five minutes from our house
on the way down to the small harbor of
Kamini, on the quiet side of the island.

They have decided to keep the old name of the
tavern but we’ll call it Anna & Stefanos and
the tavern will be our hangout from now on.

Too bad it took Kristina so long to get out.
