after I settled down a bit
and got over the fact that it was
actually Allen Ginsberg
riding in the back seat of my
'59 Cadillac
all that I wanted to
talk about with him was
poetry and
what was it?
hours later
over chocolate cake and tea
somewhere in the catacombs of
Los Angeles International Airport
it was concluded that
poetry was candor
in a world full of
truth in advertising
truth in news
reality programming and
truth in politics and religion
candor it seems
is indeed
